In December 2024 General Motors ended Cruise, citing the time and resources needed to scale and an increasingly competitive market. GM now focuses on personal vehicles: Super Cruise is hands-free, eyes-on; eyes-off highway driving is announced for 2028, first on the Cadillac Escalade IQ.
